Introduction

Coolmore Stud is the largest and most successful breeding operation in the world and we have worked with Coolmore since the seventies. We expanded our operations to cater for the huge volume of work that was available as the stud farm developed at a expeditious pace from one of the earliest yards in “ Anglim’s” , to become the world famous equine operation it is today. We were involved in developing improved facilities such as insulated roofs to maintain even temperatures, drainage layouts to improve hygiene, ventilation to achieve better air flow and quality air for horses lungs, introducing rooflights and windows to give more light to help horses feel more relaxed. We also designed and built padded stocks and loading ramps for safer handling of valuable stallions, mares and foals and horses in general. We built new stallion boxes with all of these improvements incorporated. We also designed and built staff houses throughout the farm. We built on all the associated farms and training centres, including Ballydoyle.
